Q: Which models of iPhone & iPod Touch do you support?

A: Kaal's Tales runs on the following devices:

Supported iPhone models: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

Q: I am getting the "Sorry, there was a network error..." message.

A: You need to be connected to a network through Wi-Fi or 3G.

Please make sure your network settings on your iPhone or iPod Touch is setup correctly.

Q: How do I preview a book?

A: You can preview any book for free. You need to be connected to a network through Wi-Fi or 3G. Click "Free Preview" and the preview book will download automatically.

Q: I click on "Free Preview" but when I try to read the book, the App tries to download the book again.

A: If you are seeing a "Sorry, there was a network error..." message, make sure you are connected to a network through Wi-Fi or 3G.

Once you are connected to a network and the App continues to download the same book, please make sure you have enough free space on your iPhone or iPod Touch

If you have enough space and are still getting this problem, please delete the App, install the App again and click "Free Preview".

Q: I bought a book but when I try to read the book, the App tries to download the book again.

A: If you are seeing a "Sorry, there was a network error..." message, make sure you are connected to a network through Wi-Fi or 3G.

Once you are connected to a network and the App downloads the book again, please make sure you have enough free space on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

If you have enough space and are still getting this problem, please delete the App and install the App again. Then click on "Buy" to purchase the book. Since you have already bought the book, you will NOT be charged for the book again.

Q: I deleted the App and reinstalled. All my books are gone! How do I get them back?

A: When you delete any App on the iPhone/iPod Touch, the data associated with that App is also deleted.

You can get preview books back by clicking on the "Free Preview" to download the preview book again.

If you purchased a book, you can get the book back by clicking on "Buy". You will be prompted for your iTunes password. You should see the message that you have already purchased the item. Continue on and the App will download the book. You will NOT be charged again.

Q: The App crashed, what should I do?

A: Usually re-launching the App should fix the crash. But make sure other Apps are not running in the background. You can always check for other Apps by double clicking on the Home button and stopping Apps you are not using.

If the App still crashes, reboot your iPhone/iPod Touch by holding down the power button and shutting it down.

Q: I cannot hear any sound!

A: There are a few issues with the iPhone & iPod Touch regarding sound. Here is a list of issues we know about:

1) Verify the volume is set above zero. Use the volume buttons and increase volume to a comfortable level.

2) Sometimes unplugging the headphones does not unmute the speakers. This can be fixed by plugging in the headphones and unplugging them again.
