About The Fungle®

The Fungle is a safe, fun and interactive environment for kids where they learn about the world's cultures and stories. All over the world the tradition of storytelling, through simple stories, has been passed down through generations to teach values that enrich us all our lives.

As parents we want our children to hear the same stories which inspired and entertained us when we were growing up. But today's small families, living far away from grandparents and other family members, has deprived our children of those stories.

That is why we created The Fungle, a safe and interactive environment for your kids to hear those stories!

Here your child will:

  • Learn about the world's diverse mythologies & cultures as they take their personalized avatar on a journey through fantastic worlds!
  • Meet & be entertained by lovable characters who help them find interactive storybooks based on mythology, folklore and cultural facts.
  • Be engaged in their learning by unlocking games, quests, coloring sheets and other fun activities.

And as your child's experience grows, The Fungle grows with them. It is an ever expanding playground with new stories, worlds and games added each month.

How safe is my child?

The Fungle is a secure online environment where parents can trust their kids to learn, play and share in complete safety. No one can ask your kids for any personal information and there is no way for your child to share any personal information with others. Our chat system is based on premade phrases and sentences to ensure there is no inappropriate messaging. We do not collect any personally identifiable information from your kids.

Also, there are no advertisements or external links that your children will be exposed to and so are completely safe within our world!

Will my kids learn anything here?

Your kids may not realize they are learning the following...

  • Exposure to diverse cultures around the world through stories and historical & cultural facts.
  • Most of these stories aim to educate kids on simple moral values required in everyday life.
  • Cultural facts will give them a glimpse of art, music, dance and architecture from the different countries in the world.
  • As these stories and facts are narrated in English to children, they will be encouraged to click on 'difficult' English words and learn their meanings.
  • Games and other activities encourage logical reasoning and puzzle solving abilities.

Who is The Fungle for?

We created this for kids 5 to 10 years old but in our tests we found parents and older kids liked it a lot too!

What do I need to play The Fungle?

The Fungle can be played with one these Web Browsers - Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari, on a Windows™ or Apple™ notebook or desktop computer with a broadband internet connection. You will need the latest Adobe™ Flash™ Player that can be downloaded for free. You also need a parent account by registering with us.

Note: We currently do not support Internet Explorer version 6.0 or older.

Who created The Fungle?

The Fungle is created by Gamaya Inc, USA. We are a group of video game industry veterans, who have worked at companies like Electronic Arts™, Warner Bros.™ & Capcom™. Read more about us here.

Parent Account

To play in The Fungle, parents are required to create an account by registering with us for free. When you register, you can create up to 2 child accounts that will enable your kids to play. Once you register and activate your account, your child can play in The Fungle using his/her profile username & password.

Your parent account login will not allow you to play in The Fungle as your child. You need to log in with one of your child profile username & password.

Currently registering and playing in The Fungle is free. As we add more stories, worlds and games, we will offer various membership models and the ability to purchase content "A la carte".

How do I register?

Click on the Register button at the top of this page (or from the home page).

Fill in the required information & submit the form.

Log in to the email account you provided in the registration form. You should see an email from thefungle.com with a link that activates your account. Click on that link to activate your account. Your kids can now play in The Fungle by clicking on the Play button and logging in with your child username and password.
